OECE 415-xx42/20 one-part water-based converter: for wood and abs

This topcoat designed for interior furniture is available in a 415-0042/20 clear 20 gloss and a 415-9042/20 white version. It can be applied using a spray gun and coloured by up to 10% with 445-XX60 series pastes. 415-XX42/20 has an excellent level of thixotropy and superb application on borders even on ABS. It spreads well, fills perfectly, creates a soft surface texture and is ideal for coating any structure with a complex shape. The product’s special characteristic, though, is its adhesion to various types of material. In-depth research into binders, in fact, has allowed us to develop a formula that creates the same level of adhesion on various types of ABS as it does on wood. 415-XX42/20 is also ideal for direct cycles on sanded melamine paper without using primers or hardeners. The new generation matting system gives the converter a level of hardness similar to that of a two-part topcoat. Rapid drying means shorter stacking times and therefore higher production levels. Items can also be dried in forced air systems without affecting the uniformity of the matt finish.
