OECE HIGH GLOSS AROMATIC FREE PU TOPCOATS RANGE: EXCELLENT BUILD, VERY GOOD LEVELLING, EXTREMELY FAST DRYING

These aromatic free PU topcoats for interior furnishing can be applied on MDF by manual spray gun or by automatic spray/robot. Thanks to the possibility to apply thick layers, 218-9005/95 white and 218-0005/95 clear are suitable to work directly on melamine paper previously sanded with sand papers with finer grit, down to 600. When properly sanded, the first layer of 218-XX05/95 can be applied with an amount of 180-250 gr/sqm. They are characterized by a smooth and slick finishing, and can be tinted with PU pastes for tinting system.
218-9005/95 is stackable after 4-6 hours after forced drying at 35-40°C. 218-0005/95 is stackable after 5-7 hours after forced drying at 35-40°C.
The quick drying gives a high gloss coating system with excellent build, while the excellent adhesion allows mechanical shock resistant. Furthermore, thanks to the good chemical resistance these topcoats are resistant to cold liquids, and the outstanding hard surface makes them scratch resistant.
Thanks to the absence of the aromatic chemicals the products have a better labelling, showing no more the pictogram of long-term toxicity.
The suggested coating system consists of the 218-XX05/95 high gloss PU 2K topcoat without aromatics, with the addition of hardener 812-20 at 70-100% (by weight) and thinner 922-03 at 30-70% (by weight).
