1962

Founded in Cavezzo di Modena, OECE is the innovative brainchild of Giorgio Gionata Vernizzi.

OECE invested in the search for high quality products with very low environmental impact.

Anni 60-70

Anni 80

the Dharma and Rama-Dharma projects were launched to create environmentally and human-friendly coating products. The company developed its first waterborne coating system for glass and a wide range of special effects. Italy’s leading designers started to use OECE products.

OECE becomes an international business. Research increased, and led to the development of special product ranges and the water-based version of the brand’s special effects line.

1990

2000

the company’s growing size, its international coverage and the concept of total quality lead OECE to qualify as a solution provider.

the first range of products with solvent content below 5%.

2007

2010

The Sherwin-Williams Company acquired the OECE brand, which became even stronger internationally.

CATAS QUALITY AWARD PLUS certified systems for exterior joinery.

COLOREADY: the new tintometric system with universal colours.
