454-0529/2 is a clear water-based impregnant for attic beams, matchboarding and garden furniture. Designed specifically for industrial application to smooth-planed conifer woods that are hard to wet and cannot be sanded, such as pine and spruce, 454-0529/2 resolves all greying and staining problems. 454-0529/2 is ready for use and can be applied using automatic impregnating machines. Generally, a single topcoat is applied, but it is possible to apply up to three coats. The impregnant can be pigmented with the 446-XXXX range of transparent iron oxide pastes and with the 445-XXXX range of high-coverage water-based pastes to obtain any desired colour, including those requested by the most demanding architects. 454-0529/2 has passed the Gardner wheel and natural exposure tests with flying colours.
