New water-based 2 pack converter anti-scratch Oece 41b-0025/15 – 41b-9025/15

The new water-based matt converter for interiors wooden artifacts coating, 2 pack, is characterized by high chemical-physical resistance and long pot-life, anti-yellowing, and high softness, comparable to that of a polyurethane topcoat. The revolutionary matting system gives the converter a very low nail polishing, which no other water-based topcoat can boast, so the product is ideal for flat parts of furniture, desks and tables; moreover it can be used for living rooms panels, bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms. The converter is available neutral 41B-0025/15 and white 41B-9025/15 both 15 gloss. It can be pigmented with the water-based pastes of the OECE tinting system. The latest generation rheological system has made possible an ideal compromise between verticality and wettability. Thanks to the new wetting system, it’s perfect for use in situations where the automatic application system doesn’t facilitate the wettability on the edges of panels of different thicknesses. The thixotropic system generates high coverage on the edges. Applicable, after catalysis, by cup, airless, airmix, electrostatic, on rough or pre-treated substrates with water-based or polyester basecoats. Excellent adhesion even on previously sanded melamine paper and ABS edges. The coating system can be restored, sanding. The application tests have shown a remarkable versatility of use, which goes from the natural drying cycle to those with oven-stage drying. Scratch-proof, with a nail polishing reduced to the limit, for the finishing of furniture and furnishing accessories even more subject to mechanical stress, with exceptional chemical resistance.
