The white PU topcoat 218-9005/95 specifically created for indoor furniture is completely free of odorous chemical substances and has excellent cover, spreads well and dries rapidly. It can be automatic spray or curtain applied, directly on sanded melamine paper. It also has a soft, smooth texture. Thanks to the absence of odorous chemical substances there is no long-term toxicity hazard pictogram on the product label. The melamine paper should be sanded using papers with various grades (up to 600 grit). On a carefully sanded base the first coat can even be 200-300 g/m². Stackable already after 2-3 hours at 20°C. The coating cycle consists of a 218-9005/95 topcoat + a 812-20 hardener at 100% + a 922-03 thinner at 30-70%. Rapid drying ensures this gloss system with excellent cover and body is also quick to use. Its excellent adhesion makes it resistant to knocks, chemicals and cold liquids and its excellent surface hardness is scratchproof too.
