The new OECE high gloss topcoat 212-9200/99 features an excellent adhesion and hiding power on melamine papers. It allows manufacturers to make holes or slots on the coated item without dents or paint detachment to the film, and is suitable for furniture, kitchen cabinets, or panels. 212-9200/99, to be hardened at 80% with 812-78, should be applied directly on melamine panels with no need of polishing, thanks to its good flowing and glossy appearance. It shows fast drying properties and good surface hardness, excellent hiding build and possibility of polishing.212-9200/99 can also be pigmented with solvent-based pastes for tintometric system 241-XXXX, in order to obtain pale or pastel colors.
